Spyderco was thinking of you when they developed the Native folding knife. Their goal was to design a handle that gives you amazing cutting power with minimal discomfort. Combine that with the most hyped steel of the year (S30V) and you have a winner.
I recently picked up a Spyderco Native and here are my thoughts.
Spyderco Knives
What I like about the knife:
1. The handle really does feel awesome in your hand.
It is made with glass-reinforced nylon that is tough as nails. Spyderco has also incorporated two separate finger "Choils" to give you the ability to make almost any type of cut.
2. S30V steel gives you the rust resistance of a stainless steel with the sheer toughness and edge holding ability of high carbon steel. This type of compromise is a rarity in the knife world today.
3. The pocket clip is ambidextrous. This is a huge advantage for all you lefties out there. It would be a shame for you to miss out on such a great knife.
The clip is made from stainless steel which is rugged and tough just like the knife.
4. Spyderco gives you some options with the Native folding knife. Here are a few of them:
Plain or serrated edge
Silver or black blade
Black, tan, or silver handle
What I didn't like:
I'm sorry but I cant think of anything!
Overall:
Don't miss out on one of the best knives of 2008. The Spyderco Native is comfortable, dependable and looks great.

Spyderco Medium/Fine Profile Set Overview
